JEE
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a
national level examination is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary
education (CBSE) and Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). The JEE Main 2015
is basically the first tire of the JEE. The JEE is the joint entrance
examination is annually conducted for the candidates aspiring for the
engineering and technical education in the most premier institutions such as
the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology
(NITs), IIITs, IISER, CFTIs, SFTIs, ISM Dhanbad etc.
The joint entrance examination (JEE) is
divided into JEE Mains and JEE advanced. The JEE Mains are conducted for nearly
13 lakh candidates every year. The candidates aspiring for the institutes such
as the IITs, ISM will have to take up the second round of JEE i.e. JEE advanced
examination. To qualify for the JEE examination advanced, the candidates are
required to clear the JEE mains with the top ranking score. The top 1.5 lakh
candidates will be selected to attend the JEE advanced examination. The
advanced examination is for the candidates who aspire to study their
engineering and technical education at the Indian Institute of Technology
(IITs) and ISM Dhanbad.
Selection
Criteria
The selection criteria for the JEE mains
will be selected on the All India Ranks (AIR) which will be calculated with JEE
mains 2015 score and class twelfth board exams in the ratio 60:40. This similar
method is used by the most of the colleges and universities today.
Eligibility
criteria
The candidates are requested to read the
eligibility criteria before filling the application form and they are requested
to go through the terms and conditions to confirm their eligibility. The
eligibility criteria for the candidates are given below.
1.
The candidates should have
passed the class twelfth examination (or its equivalent) either in the year
2012 or 2013.
2.
If the result of qualifying
examination is to be announced after June 2015, the candidates are rather not
advised to apply for the same.
3.
The candidates who are born on
or after October 1, 1989 (SC/ST/PwD in 1984) are eligible to apply.
4.
If the candidate has passed the
class twelfth with four subjects in the year 2012 or 2013, he/she may apply for
the candidate as well. However the candidate passing in the year 2015 must have
five subjects in the class twelfth.

Application form Process
The candidates need to apply for the JEE
entrance examination online. For this, they can access the official website. The
candidates will have to upload their scanned images of the photo, thumb
impression and signature. Any documents sent to the main JEE office will be
discarded.
