Do you like to appear in JEE 2013 for IIT? This would help you in understanding how the paper pattern would be for both JEE Main 2013 as well as for JEE Advanced 2013.Both are quite simple..

JEE Main 2013 pattern

JEE Main has two papers.Students who needs to apply for B.E /B.Tech should go for paper 1 and for the students who needs to go for B.Arch should go for Paper 2.JEE Main 2013 pathetern will be like In Paper 1  the subjects would be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics .There willl be objective type of questions and it has 4 options with one correct answer.We have both offline and online mode of examination and the exam duration is for 3 hours.In Paper 2 there will be 3 parts categorized as Mathematics ,Aptiude test and drawing test respectively.There will be objective type of questions in the first two parts and the drawing test contains questions to test drawing aptitude.This also has 4 options with one correct answer for both part 1 and 2.This exam can be done only through offline mode which is also for 3 hours.

Both the papers will contain objective type questions with 4 options .The students should mark the right choice in the OMR sheet..Mark schemes will be like For all the correct answer full marks will be given . For every incorrect answer one fourth of the total marks will be reduced.No marks will be given for no answer marked.


JEE Advanced Paper Pattern

The only way to get into JEE Advanced is to clear JEE Main paper.This has two objective type papers Paper 1 and 2 and both the papers contains questions from Physics, chemistry and mathematics.The exam duration is for 3 hours.The papers willl be in both English as well as Hindi.Paper 1 will be conducted in the morning session and paper 2 will be conducted in the afternoon session.In morning the exams will be from 9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m and in the afternoon it willbe from 2:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. Mark schemes will not be given out for this JEE Advanced paper.
