Applying for the JEE 2013
The online application for the JEE (Main) 2013 and the JEE
(Advanced) 2013 has begun from 8th November 2012 and the forms will be
available upto 15th December 2012. Candidates who want to appear for the
JEE advanced should compulsorily appear for the JEE Main paper-1. The
Online application is available at: http://www.jeemain-edu.in/.
For foreign nationals, those who meet the eligibility of the board
examination should only apply. Their aggregate marks should be atleast
60%.
Registration for the JEE (Advanced) requires
filling up another form. The candidates within ranks 1,50,000 having the
respective category cut offs in JEE (Main) are eligible to write the
advanced JEE test. The registration process is between 8th May 2013 to
13th May 2013 at the following website : http://jeeadv.iitd.ac.in . Application fee is separate for both the exams. JEE advanced brochures are available online at the seven zonal IIT websites.

The application fee for JEE (Advanced) – 2013 is (i) Rs. 1800 (One
thousand eight hundred rupees only) for the GN/OBC/OBC-NCL candidates,
(ii) Rs. 900 (Nine hundred rupees only) for the SC/ST/PwD candidates and
(iii) No fee for the female candidates (all categories). For candidates
appearing from Dubai centre, the fees will be US$ 200. This fee can be
paid at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) having Core Banking
Solutions (CBS). The process of paying the application fee must be
completed between 8th May 2013 (Wednesday) to 13th May 2013 (Monday).
