JEE Main 2015 Exam Dates, Syllabus Pattern, Registration


The Joint entrance examination (JEE) is the first exam of the two stages of the JEE. It is basically conducted by the central board of secondary education (CBSE). The examination is conducted for the candidates seeking admissions into the NITs, many centrally funded institutions, number of government institutions and top ranking private institutions. The candidates will be selected on the basis of the All India Rank (AIR) which are calculated on the basis of the JEE Main 2015 score and the class twelfth marks in the 60:40 marks (normalisation method). 

The JEE exam consists of the two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2. The examination is based on the pen and paper as well as online examination. 

JEE Main 2015 exam dates 

1.       The start of the JEE 2015 online examination is on November 7th, 2015.
2.       The last date of the submissions of the online applications is from the last week of December 2014.
3.       The uploading of images is from the first week of January 2015.
4.       The online fee payment via debit or credit card is from the first week of January 2015.
5.       The E-Challan download availability for all the banks is from the second week of the January 2015.
6.       The JEE Main 2015 admit card is from the second week of the March 2015 onwards.
7.       The download of the acknowledgement page is from the third week of the April 19th, 2015.
8.       The JEE Mains 2015 computer based examination is from the second week of the April, 2015.
9.       The JEE paper (Paper 1 and Paper 2) based examination from the first week of the April 2015.
10.   The JEE Mains results 2015 results will be out from the first week of the May, 2015.
11.   The declaration of the all India ranks is from the second week of the July, 2015.
12.   The availability of the JEE main 2015 rank card after the declaration of the results.

Syllabus pattern

The syllabus for the JEE examination is given below.

JEE Main Syllabus for Physics
Physics and Measurement-Kinematics-laws of Motion-work, energy and power- rotational motion- gravitation-properties of solids and liquids- thermodynamics- Kinetic theory of gases-oscillations and waves- electrostatics- current electricity- magnetic effects of the current and magnetism- electromagnetic induction-alternating currents-electromagnetic waves-optics-dual nature of matter and radiation-atoms and nuclei-electronics devices- communication systems-  experimental skills.

JEE Main Syllabus for chemistry
Basic concepts of chemistry-states of matter-atomic structure-chemical bonding and molecular structure-chemical thermodynamics-equilibrium-redox reactions and electrochemistry-chemical kinetics-surface chemistry-inorganic chemistry- co-ordination compounds-environmental chemistry- organic chemistry-polymers-Biomolecules- chemistry in everyday life-Practical chemistry.

JEE Main syllabus for Mathematics
Sets, Relations and functions- complex numbers and quadratic functions- Matrices and determinants-Permutations and combinations-mathematical induction-binomial theorem and its simple applications- sequences and series-limit, continuity and differentiability-integral calculus-differential equations-coordinate geometry- vector algebra-statistics and probability-three dimensional geometry-trigonometry-mathematical reasoning. 

Registration
The JEE Main 2015 examination has to be applied online by the candidates by visiting the official website. This requires the uploading of the JPEG files, thumb impression and signature according to the specified requirements. The payment of the examination fees either through the bank debit card, credit card or through the bank -challan. The acknowledgement  can be downloaded and kept to be safe by the candidate.
