Important Dates of JEE 2013 and Other Information
The JEE advanced will be held on 2nd June 2013 (Sunday). It is not
an online exam, but instead is a pen and paper based exam. The results
of the test will be available on 23rd June 2013 (Sunday). They can
viewed on the IIT Delhi website - http://jeeadv.iitd.ac.in
. The ORS of the candidates who take JEE (Advanced) – 2013 examination
will be made available on the JEE (Advanced) – 2013 website between 14th
June 2013 (Friday) to 17th June 2013 (Monday). For any clarification
regarding the displayed results, one can contact JEE (Advanced) – 2013
office of IIT Delhi during the same period. The process will be made
known to everyone through the detailed instruction given on the website.
The format of the JEE 2013 exam will be similar to that of the
previous years. There will be two different papers, called the paper 1
and paper 2 which have questions in the multiple choice format. Each
paper will have a duration of 3 hours. Questions will be in both Hindi
and English. The percentile marks/ranking will be based on all the
subjects of the qualifying examination.
To pay the registration fees for JEE (Advanced) – 2013, a candidate needs to follow the following steps:
1. He/She should fill up the online registration form completely after which the payment challan will be generated.
2. The challan should be printed and paid at any branch of State Bank of India that has Core Banking Solution (CBS).
3. The counterpart of the challan should be obtained from the bank.
4. The photocopy of this should be sent with the necessary documents,
a. Class X mark sheet or Birth certificate
b. Class XII mark sheets of available, or a declaration that you will be submitting it before 30th September 2013.
c. Caste certificates if applicable.
d. PwD cerficicate if applicable.
